Full Description

Brief Description:

The successful intern will provide support to the World Renew Human Resources (HR) Team by researching, organizing, and completing writing projects as assigned by the team.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Learn and absorb
- Learn the basic history of World Renew and more including what we do, who we are, what roles staff play, and learn about our vision and mission
- Spend time in office and participate in office culture for example relevant stand up meetings and breaks
- Gain knowledge of and experience in the functions of Human Resources in a non-profit organization and meet regularly with HR staff

Research, Organize and Write
- Update organizational charts
- Administrative follow-up regarding staff performance evaluations
- Update and/or remove list-serves
- Update job postings website list(s)
- Update Google Drive documents and files
- Assist with logistics
- Draft letters e.g. travel visa letters
- Print and process job applications and proposals
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
-Attending a post-secondary institution, specializing in Human Resources. A second or third year student is preferred
-Advanced computer skills in Office Suite and Google are required
