Event Details

Our co-hosting organisations invite you to join an engaging discussion on key challenges and opportunities to support persons with disabilities in emergency education contexts.

Following the 2020 International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPWD) on December 3rd, and ahead of the 2022 Global Disability Summit, co-chaired by the Government of Norway, this Forum will explore progress made against previous global commitments and initiatives to educate people with disabilities, with renewed focus on those furthest excluded.

After the opening plenary, that will conclude at 9:20am, you will be able to join a series of follow-up, interactive breakout sessions where you will be able to discuss key challenges (such as the impact of COVID-19), opportunities for collaboration and best practices to support for persons with disabilities in emergency education contexts.

Please select your preferred breakout sessions from the selections below.
