About the Presenters:

An expert in opinion research and strategy, Heather Fraser knows what moves people. With more than 20 years of experience fusing communications, research and organization into effective strategies, she knows how to inspire people to positive action. When she’s not behind one-way mirrors at focus groups, she might be found on a ski hill or in a boat or just hanging with her kids.

Joanne Deer’s everything we love: savvy strategist, brilliant writer, witty tweeter and a great person to work with. As a former news producer who headed comms for ACTRA and the federal NDP, Jo’s expertise and eye for great production values bring a strategic and creative touch to everything she does. Possibly the only Nova Scotian – safari guide – comedian you will ever meet.

Emily-Anne Paul knows what it takes to motivate governments and stakeholders to act. An experienced campaigner with a keen understanding of the changing political and media landscapes in Canada, she helps clients find the right frame and the right strategic plan. Prior to joining NOW, she served as a political advisor in both government and opposition. Loves running, knitting, and being outdoors.
