OCIC is proud to present the Together 2018 Satellite Event in Toronto on November 5, 2018. Together 2018: Collaboration, Innovation and the Sustainable Development Goals is Canada’s second annual national symposium on the SDGs. The main event will be held in Edmonton, Alberta, and celebrated across the country through online live stream and satellite events. Since its introduction in 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been a transformative global agenda incorporating the vision of sustainable, just, and equitable development in economic, social, and environmental aspects. With the reframing of international cooperation policy in 2016, the launch of Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) in 2017, and the most recent global dialogues at the G7 Summit held in La Malbaie, Quebec, 2018 has been a critical point where Canadian organizations and development practitioners reinvigorate our strategies to ensure a peaceful, inclusive and prosperous society that leaves no one behind.
