Brief Description:
As the Small Micro Agribusiness volunteer you will provide technical training and mentorship to new and existing women, youth and marginalized male agro-producers. You will facilitate the identification and support of existing and potential agricultural products whose value can be enhanced through efficient value-added processing and improved methodologies within small-scale food processing businesses. In addition, you will be required to undertake market research and analysis to inform strategies implemented by the Sustainable Agriculture in the Caribbean (SAC) project in the OECS (Dominica and Saint Lucia) for the benefit of women and youth producers.
You will work closely with the Agribusiness and Marketing Officers and the WUSC OECS team in the planning and delivery of training, initiatives, and interventions that benefit women and youth (male/female) producers and farmer groups.
