Brief Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a public policy professional to contribute to a new regional nutrition project led by CARE Canada. The Southern Africa Nutrition Initiative (SANI) will improve the nutrition of women of reproductive age and reduce stunting of growth for children under five years old in Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi.
The Organizational Development Advisor will contribute to the strengthening of existing Nutrition Coordinating Committees by helping them plan, implement and monitor multi-sectoral nutrition programs. The focus will mostly be on strengthening the coordinating committees so that they can provide supported supervision, outreach, project management and monitoring. The volunteer will also provide some support to coordinate and collaborate with the different stakeholders.
