Results Canada is recruiting Board Members who share our vision that a world without extreme poverty is possible and who understand that everyday people have the power to make a difference.

Results Canada is a high-impact nonprofit advocacy organization committed to creating the political will to end extreme poverty. We advocate for resources and for policies that improve the health, education and economic opportunities of people living in poverty globally. Through the application of proven advocacy tools and tactics, our committed and trained volunteers are raising their voices to change the world. They are supported in that effort by a team of dedicated, highly skilled staff.

Results Canada is seeking Directors who have a passion for advocacy and public engagement. This year, to complement our current Board of Directors, we are also specifically searching for Directors with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Fundraising and business development
Human resources and change management
Finance and accounting
Anti-oppression and DEI knowledge and understanding of best practice
Experience and perspective from having lived in a low-income country
Results Canada has the following basic expectations of board directors:

Know and support the mission of the organization
Attend and participate in all board meetings and the Annual General Meeting (approximately four meetings per year) plus participate in at least one board committee
Support the Executive Director
Actively support resource development and fundraising efforts
Participate in Results Canada events and campaigns
Positively promote the organization and serve as a link with members, donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders
