Job Description
As the Chief of Staff (COS), you will be integral to our organization’s productivity and effectiveness during a period of rapid growth. You will be a key advisor and support to the CEO and other members of the senior leadership team, providing strategic and tactical support and ensuring the efficient operation and success of our initiatives across the organization.
You are someone who is able to contribute to the bigger-picture goals and objectives and translate them into workable strategies and solutions in a cross-cultural and cross-departmental context. You embody the principles of servant leadership while demonstrating exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This role requires a versatile generalist who can navigate complex organizational challenges and drive multi-disciplinary projects forward.
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), offering insights and strategic guidance on a wide range of organizational matters. This includes facilitating informed decision-making through research, analysis of key issues, and preparation of executive briefings.
Communication Liaison: Responsible for relaying information between SLT and the broader teams as relevant. This will include attending and participating in meetings and ensuring that relevant information and decisions are being communicated effectively across departments and regions.
Support to the CEO: Assist the CEO in prioritization and scheduling to make the most of their limited time and provide day-to-day support in Board Management and other portfolios of their deliverables.
Leadership and Coordination: Support cross-functional teams and coordinate initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives as well as providing required guidance and support to the teams. This would involve working on the everyday action items that executive team members do not have time to carry out, such as working with department leaders on project coordination and business administration.
Project Assessment and Facilitation: Oversee and drive special projects as assigned, ensuring risks are mitigated, milestones are met, and outcomes align with organizational goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships that advance the organization’s objectives.
Operational Efficiency: Streamline operations and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
Team Support: Model servant leadership, prioritizing the growth and well-being of the team and the communities we serve.

Requirements and Experience
7+ years of prior experience in a business or executive management position, specifically overseeing multiple departments with an emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Experience in the development of non-profit organizations in a cross-cultural environment would be an asset.
Strong generalist background with experience in strategic planning, project management, data analysis, and operational improvement.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with high emotional intelligence.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
