Risk management is the identification, evaluation and prioritizing of risk followed by the implementation of controls to manage and mitigate the impact of risk events.

Eric Plato is a CPA, CMA who has held many finance roles in the non-profit sector over the past 30 years. Between board and work experience he has supported organizations with budgets ranging from under $100,000, to over $100 million. Eric is an experienced trainer, speaker and facilitator in non-profit financial management, and currently teaches financial management for NGO’s at Centennial College. His goal has always been to support the non-profit sector to feel more confident and comfortable in managing matters of financial management.
