About
Welcome to Acted Canada, part of the global Acted network committed to building a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient world.
As a humanitarian and development organization, Acted Canada supports vulnerable communities by fostering innovative, locally driven solutions. We contribute to Canada’s international cooperation landscape through policy engagement, strategic partnerships, and thought leadership—particularly in areas such as climate adaptation, humanitarian response, and triple nexus programming. We work closely with Canadian civil society, institutions, and youth to strengthen the impact of global efforts and create space for bold, community-based action.
Globally, Acted operates in more than 40 countries, reaching over 27 million people through 580 projects. Our work spans from emergency response to sustainable development, anchored in the 3ZERO framework: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, and Zero Poverty. Flagship initiatives like THRIVE, AGORA, and 3ZERO Houses demonstrate our commitment to local leadership, sustainable development, and collaborative innovation.
At Acted Canada, we amplify this mission by connecting Canadian expertise with global needs—supporting frontline partners, engaging youth, and advocating for systems that value dignity, equity, and sustainability.
We invite you to be part of this journey toward a 3ZERO world.
