Welcome to Acted Canada, a proud part of the international Acted network, dedicated to innovative humanitarian and development initiatives.

Our mission is rooted in a commitment to serve the most vulnerable populations, integrating sustainable solutions into all of our work. In the Canadian civil society sphere, we are recognized for our dynamic participation and significant contributions to discussions on climate adaptation, humanitarian relief, and triple nexus programming. By creating strategic partnerships and advocating for impactful policies, Acted Canada enhances the effectiveness of our global missions, embodying a spirit of innovation and a continuous drive for positive change.

Acted Canada is part of a global network dedicated to immediate humanitarian relief and sustainable solutions in regions facing severe challenges. From supporting 17.8 million people worldwide, engaging in 596 projects across 42 countries, to specific initiatives like AGORA and Thrive that promote sustainable community development—Acted’s work spans from emergency aid to long-term sustainability projects. Acted is deeply involved in programs through our innovative 3Zero approach (Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty), striving for impactful change through various partnerships and programs worldwide. Acted’s commitment to transparency and accountability is evidenced by strict adherence to international conduct codes and detailed reporting on project impacts and financial oversight.
