About
CMETrust is a Canadian charity run by volunteers in Canada and Kenya. We collaborate with members of the Mathare community, especially our scholars and families. We believe in the importance of learning-by-doing, and we are accountable for our work. We see the impact of our work every day in the power of educated young people to change their lives and their communities. Since 2006, CMETrust has supported more than 150 students in Mathare through secondary school scholarships. We also provide workshops on leadership, learning, and service to our scholars during school holidays and computer training to all of our graduates. Our alumni network is active and growing in Mathare.
