Event Details

The Development Ethics Forum is a set of four online workshops about the ethics of international development practice. It is designed for international development professionals who have questions about ethics and want to learn the language of ethics to analyze ethical issues professionally.

Who is it for: Development practitioners at all stages of their careers. Registration is limited to 12 participants.

When: The Development Ethics Forum involves four 90-minute workshops, to be held via Zoom from 12 (noon) to 1:30pm (EDT) on June 1, 8, 15, and 22, 2022.

Each workshop builds on the previous workshop so we ask participants to commit to the full set of 4 workshops.

What to expect: The Development Ethics Forum is designed to enable development practitioners to connect their experiences of grappling with ethical questions in their work to tools and concepts for ethical reasoning created by other development practitioners as well as philosophers who work in the field of development ethics. The Forum will provide practitioners with the resources to articulate and discuss ethical concerns systematically and professionally. The Forum consists of four workshop-style sessions.

Deadline for registration is May 20.
