Cyber Security for Charities and NPO’s: Mitigating Risks and Protecting Data
Charities and Non-Profit Organizations have tremendous motivation to protect their digital data, however many do not take the proper steps to mitigate these risks. Historically Charities and NPO’s were not a main target of cyber criminals, but there has been a rash of attacks over the past few years focusing on them. This presentation will discuss some common methods that attackers utilize to gather information before launching an attack, why it is important for organizations to consider the security of their digital data, why organizations need to have a pre and post breach cyber plan, and the reputational risks of a cyber-breach.
This webinar will be presented by Ryan Duquette. Ryan Duquette focuses on litigation support, cyber incident response, privacy and technology risks, digital forensics and cyber fraud matters. Ryan has been an investigator for over twenty years and was previously a police officer focusing on cybercrime and fraud cases.
