Event Details
Classic Theatre Festival is a professional theatre company featuring some of Canada’s top theatre artists, whose work has been seen on the finest professional stages, as well as on TV and in film. The theatre’s award-winning artistic team, friendly staff, and accessible box office services combine to provide the perfect summer afternoon or evening’s entertainment experience. The mandate of the Festival is to produce the classic plays from the golden age of Broadway and the London stage.
Join us for a special production this August, and support Afghan women and girls’ right to learn. Half of the ticket sales from this event will be donated to Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan), a registered Canadian charity founded in 1998 to advance education and educational opportunities for Afghan women and their families. CW4WAfghan works in partnership with Afghan women, and engages Canadians to improve conditions of human rights, end women’s oppression, and provide opportunities for Afghan women to live their lives with dignity, certainty, and purpose.
