Program Format:
A mix of virtual workshops, mentorship and in-person events in Markham/Vaughan; the time commitment is low! Only ~3 hours/week for 10 weeks.
What you’ll gain:
- Strengthen in-demand skills to support your career and resumé
- Explore how to use AI – ethically and effectively – in real-life situations
- Work on real community challenges with a team of your peers
- Connect with other young people, municipal government and industry leaders
Important Dates:
- Markham cohort: June 2 – August 4, 2026
Apply by: April 30
- Vaughan cohort: September 25 – November 26, 2026
Apply by: August 18
Who should apply:
- Youth Ages 18–24: Priority for those who are un/under-employed and not in education.
- Living in York Region: In-person events are in Markham/ Vaughan
- Open to all backgrounds: Zero previous experience required.
