Join OCIC and Crossroads International for a virtual and interactive knowledge-sharing session with special guest Hala Al-Karib, Regional Director of the Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA) Network, a key partner of Crossroads International in Kampala, Uganda.
This event is open to OCIC members and representatives of other organizations working in the areas of gender equality, women’s and girls’ empowerment, and/or international cooperation. Hala will highlight some of the successful initiatives and the positive change SIHA has seen through their various initiatives and partnerships. In addition to hearing success stories, participants will have the opportunity to share some of the key challenges faced by non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), and women’s rights organizations to close the gap on gender equality, and to build and expand partnerships, communications, and advocacy for the gender equality agenda.
The event will also mark the launch of OCIC’s ‘Equitable Partnerships’ Community of Practice dedicated to fostering equitable partnerships, sharing innovative solutions, and driving impactful change through collective action.
