Advancing Innovations in Climate Education

Event Details

As changemakers and emerging leaders, youth are increasingly seeking opportunities to learn and develop the skills needed to address the global climate crisis and confront related injustices. In anticipation of the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), AKFC is convening a session on youth climate education. Our focus is to explore innovative approaches to climate education, both within Canada and on a global scale.

Join us on November 23 as we hear from youth leaders, educators, and specialists on critical skills and innovative approaches that are enabling youth to gain the knowledge, skills, and inspiration to help advance a sustainable, just, and climate-resilient future.
