OCIC ‘Adaptive Leadership in a Changing World’

Event Summary

This interactive workshop will introduce Adaptive Leadership: what it is, and why it’s an essential characteristic for leaders and organizations in this Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous world.

Event Details

Context: Adaptability is listed by business leaders as the #1 most in-demand capability when they look to hire employees and promote leaders. In a world where digitalization, automation, work displacement and re-skilling are the new norms, and where disruptions such as Covid-19 have accelerated the pace of change, organizations need leaders who have learned to adapt and thrive in the midst of change.

This interactive workshop will introduce Adaptive Leadership: what it is, and why it’s an essential characteristic for leaders and organizations in this Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous (VUCA) world.  We will scan the ways the pandemic has accelerated the pace of change, and then move into an interactive learning time focused on key characteristics of Adaptive Leaders.

Audience: OCIC invites leaders functioning at all levels of your organization or movement to join us in this free virtual workshop for members and partners of the Council.

Facilitator: Marla Konrad is a passionate advocate for leadership development. As a leadership coach and consultant, she draws on years of experience as an executive, and combines this with powerful communications and coaching skills to support the development of leaders at all levels.
