Brief Description:
Interested in gaining international experience: intern abroad with the YMCA of Greater Toronto.
The International Youth Internship Program (IYIP), coordinated by the YMCA of Greater Toronto, is a Global Affairs Canada-funded initiative that offers youth in Canada aged 18–30 meaningful work experiences in international settings. Interns support community-based projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and YMCA Vision 2030, while developing professional, language, and cross-cultural skills.
Through a three- to six-month internship, participants gain practical skills, global connections, and leadership experience with partner organizations in Africa and South America.
