Brief Description:
The International Programs Agent, will provide support in preparing reports for Global Affairs Canada (GAC) which includes the collection of financial back up from our overseas partners and working with the finance team with reconciliation. This position provides support to the Coordinator and General Manager of the International Youth Internship Program (IYIP). The YMCA International Youth Internship Program offers a transformative global experience for youth in Canada (ages 18–30) overcoming barriers to employment, identifying as youth with disabilities, Indigenous, racialized, or 2SLGBTQI+. The program includes a 4 to 6-month internship abroad in Colombia (Bogota, Medellin, Cali), Ghana, Togo, or Sierra Leone. The support includes gathering relevant supporting documentation and financial documentation as well as ensuring data integrity.
