Brief Description:

The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) is the Anglican Church of Canada’s agency for sustainable development and relief. Through the support of Anglican parishes across Canada, PWRDF makes financial and human resources available to partners around the world working to improve health,
food security and livelihoods for vulnerable people.

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our team starting June 1, 2024. This full-time Level 6 unionized position reports to the Director of Finance. This is a hybrid position (most work can be completed from home and with some required presence in the PWRDF offices at 80 Hayden St., Toronto).

The Finance Administrative Officer’s main responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
• Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits

Key Tasks:
• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to that all monies or payments are accounted for and are properly posted
• Extensive knowledge of donor software such as Donor Perfect
• Extensive knowledge and experience of ERP software (preference for Netsuite by Oracle)

Qualifications:
• Post secondary school diploma or BS degree in Finance, Accounting or specialized vocational training (certificate/license) with previous job-related experience
• Training and/or familiarity of Non-profit Accounting and/or CRA Guidelines for Charities
• Two or more years experience working in an accounting environment
• Two or more years progressively responsible administrative experience
• Two or more years experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software such as Netsuite or other full-scale ERP software

Salary: $58,100 plus pension and benefits.
