Summary
Ethiopiaid is looking for a Social Media Content Creator & Graphic Designer. The Social Media Content Creator & Graphic Designer works closely with the Fund Development Officer and the Executive Director to keep social media channels updates and brand focused.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content
• Considering timeliness, inclusivity, representation, and diversity in content
• Creating content to be posted on all social media platforms that is accessible and appropriate for target audiences and complies with brand standards
• Updating the Social Media Strategic Plan as necessary
• Complying with the confidentiality standards of our business and donors
Skills
• Some experience related to marketing and social media management, either through education, work or volunteering
• Proficient and comfortable with social media management including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram
• Familiarity with Canva or other digital design software (and/or willingness to learn).
• Knowledgeable and familiar with online technology
• Passion for learning advancing the companies projects
• Familiar with content marketing and social media marketing tools
• Takes initiative and can start and complete tasks with basic direction
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively from a virtual workspace.
• Proven excellence in written, visual, and verbal communication skills
Start Date & Time Commitment
This is a part-time and flexible volunteer role for an intrinsically motivated learner to gain experience with marketing and social media management. The expected time commitment is flexible based on the volunteer’s schedule.
