Full Description

Brief Description:

Youth Leadership Teams (YLTs) are groups of 2-5 Canadian Volunteers that will work together to strengthen and energize the 18 EQWIP HUBs in Bolivia, Peru, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania or Indonesia (one team per HUB). YLTs will work closely with local youth at the HUB to help enhance their connections and entry-points to the project and articulate youth experiences, with the ultimate goal of making HUBs lively, energized, knowledge-driven and youth-friendly spaces.
As part of the YLT, the team will report directly to the HUB Coordinator with technical support provided by the Knowledge and Learning Manager (KLM) and operational day-to-day support provided by the Volunteer Coordinator. Informed and driven by youth experiences and input, the YLT will work collaboratively to engage HUB youth by building youth-friendly HUB spaces and by facilitating their contribution to project knowledge and learning.

As a YLT participant, you are a young professional (age 20-24) with a passion for youth livelihoods, learning, monitoring and evaluation.
