Join us as International Day of the Girl approaches and hear about our efforts to end violence against women, and how Cuso’s program, ‘Women Engaged for Human Dignity’ in Northern Benin is supporting young girls and survivors of sexual violence.
Every year more than three-million girls are at risk of female genital mutilation (FGM). An extreme violation of a person’s human rights, this practice affects more than 200-million girls and women around the world, increasing their short- and long-term health risks.
You’ll hear from our Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Specialist Catherine Fortin-Lauzier and Health & Technical Advisor Astrid Bucio on how we are making a difference for the most vulnerable.
