This event is part of Canadian Jesuits International Open Doors Series, which aims to “open doors” on understanding of issues and realities of partners in the Global South. CJI is pleased to highlight the important work of the Faculty of Medicine at Ateneo de Zamboanga (ADZU). Dr Angeles PhD, a graduate of ADZU, and Sister Lao, RNDM, involved in community development among indigenous people in Mindanao, will be the presenters. CJI supports a scholarship fund and immersion program which provides urgently needed community-based healthcare. This is a joint project between the Zamboanga Medical School Foundation and ADZU, a Jesuit university.
