Brief Description:

World Renew, an agency of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), is a nonprofit, international development and disaster response organization with home offices in Burlington, Ontario (Canada) and Grand Rapids, Michigan (USA).

Background:

World Renew has an extensive Global Volunteer Program, sending volunteers to contribute to building the capacity of our country offices and local partners. World Renew has had contribution agreements under the Canadian government’s International Youth Internship Program (IYIP).
GAC’s VCP will aim to contribute to the economic and/or social well-being of the poorest, most marginalized and vulnerable people, particularly women and girls, in developing countries. Under this call, proposed projects must contribute to the achievement of these ultimate and intermediate outcomes.

Deliverables:
The expected result of this agreement is to contribute to a team working on World Renew’s VCP application. To provide gender equality expertise in light of GAC’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) and GAC’s gender equality priorities by:

· Writing portions of the application contributing to enhancing the gender equality components,

· Providing recommendations on how to enhance to gender sensitivity and equality areas of the application,

· Contributing to the Logic Model, Performance Management Framework including expected results and indicators as it relates to gender equality, and

· Reviewing the final version of the application, verifying that gender equality and application requirements have been met.

Services must be provided throughout the proposal writing process through to February 20, 2019.
