The Volunteer’s Role

Cuso International Bolivia is searching for a volunteer like you to support our partner Fundación PUKARA and their producers in their search for market opportunities in Canada for their natural medicinal products.

Fundación PUKARA is the social branch of Grupo ALCOS, a leader in the pharmaceutic industry in Bolivia. As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility activities, the company has recently launched a medicinal plant-based product line made from traditional medicinal practices in Bolivia.

Cuso International has been supporting two of their suppliers, female producers' associations from the departments of Santa Cruz and Chuquisaca since 2016.

As an e-volunteer, you will support the associations in their business training in order to reduce the bottlenecks in the making of their products from beginning to end - production all the way to the delivery - to increase the income in their communities.

As an e-volunteer, you will:

- Explore interest in medicinal products through market research of Canadian opportunities.

- Research and provide information on importation processes for Canada of medicinal products or plant-based products.

Essential Academic Qualifications:

- Degree in business management, administration, marketing or other relevant areas.

Essential Professional Background:

- Experience on making market research

- Technology savvy
