The Finance Program Manager is responsible for institutional donor (Global Affairs Canada) compliance within the organization. It involves financial administration of the GAC donor contract and agreements, design of effective financial tools, systems, and processes as well as delivery of expert advice to internal and external stakeholders for ensuring accurate project planning, budgeting, tracking, reporting, and auditing throughout the project life cycle. The role also focuses on driving continuous improvement and developments in the financial management of the GAC donor award.

Specifically, this position is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the five-year Global Affairs Canada (GAC) funded project with detailed financial plans, forecast, budgets, implementing the plans, controls, monitoring and reporting of financial operations and management. S/he provides leadership and guidance on compliance with GAC’s compliance requirements, provide field office and partner’s financial reports review, collation and reporting, and conduct variance analysis in alignment with project progress monitoring and reporting.

This position will be hired based on funding that has been approved yet pending its materialization.
