Ethiopiaid Canada has joined forces with Thirteen: A Social Enterprise to host a virtual Ethiopian Cooking Class.
On February 11th from 5:30pm-8:30pm, join us virtually over Zoom to learn how to make the classic Ethiopian dish, “Doro Wot”.
We have teamed up to bring you a fun and tasteful night-in. Bring your friends, your partner or yourself! When you purchase your ticket for $25 (plus processing fees) on Eventbrite, you will receive a printed and digital copy of the Doro Wot recipe, a package of Thirteen: A Social Enterprise Berbere spices sent to you in the mail and a link to the virtual class which will be held over Zoom.
This event will provide the Ottawa community with the chance to learn to make a delicious national Ethiopian dish while also supporting two organizations who are working hard to improve their local communities as well as support communities in Ethiopia. It’s a unique way to give back to the charities you love to support. Our goal is to raise $3,000 and to raise awareness about each organization involved and the important work that they do. The funds raised will be split between Ethiopiaid Canada and Thirteen: A Social Enterprise.
