Data for Good Waterloo Region + YW Kitchener-Waterloo Datathon
Event Details
Join us at Data for Good Waterloo Region’s second Datathon, as we partner with YW Kitchener-Waterloo to support its mission of improving the lives of women and girls. This #datathon is brought to you by our title sponsor Text Now!
### IMPORTANT NOTE ###
Participation in this Datathon requires a (free) Eventbrite ticket. Please go to https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/data-for-good-waterloo-region-yw-kitchener-waterloo-datathon-tickets-78984868869 to register.
### HOW IT WORKS ###
On the day of the Datathon, we will form teams of 4-5 volunteers to work together to solve the YW Kitchener Waterloo’s challenge statements. Remember to bring your laptop and power cord to the event!
Volunteers will perform data analytics, discover insights, and present their findings to YW Kitchener-Waterloo by the end of the day. It’s an excellent way to contribute your data science skills to help your community, and to learn from your fellow data science practitioners!
Thank you to Text Now (https://www.textnow.com), our Datathon sponsor, for their generous donation of space and food for our participants.
