You’re invited to join Cuso International as we showcase our work from the project: Gender assessment of non-timber forest production in northern uplands Laos, and hear from alum Erin Kelly about her volunteer journey as a communications advisor for Cameroun Écologie. And alum Avanthi Jayaratna about her experience in Tanzania supporting T-LED for 7 months as a Marketing Management Advisor.

Erin Kelly
Erin is a graduate from the New Media program at the University of Toronto and is working towards a career as a documentary producer. Currently she is working as the Media Producer/Editor for a small company, Grimsmo Knives. Additionally, Erin writes film scripts and volunteers for a historic house in her spare time. She has made four short films, and is currently in post-production for her fifth, which she wrote and directed as part of the Niagara Film Collective. Erin was a Communications Advisor in Cameroon with Cameroun Écologie from December 2016 – June 2017.
Avanthi Jayaratna
Avanthi is an experienced business professional with extensive knowledge in financial and telecommunication industries. She is highly motivated and uses a fact-based approach to decision making, utilizing thorough critical thinking. She is driven by her commitment to influence meaningful change and deliver results. Avanthi was in Tanzania supporting T-LED for 7 months as a Marketing Management Advisor for Cuso.
