An evening of screening of the movie: Beasts of No Nation, accompanied by a discussion of Sustainable Development Goals: what they are, why they exist, why they are significant etc.

Join us for an evening with various alumni from York University, as they discuss their journeys throughout the time they were majoring in international development; what they learned during their time as undergraduate students, whether their career goals are related to SDGs, what they wish they learned before stepping into the field of international development.

This event will be focusing on Canada’s role and approach to international development as a whole, its current contributions to the stream of international development on a global scale and whether it can do more to assist other countries, especially in regarding its foreign policies.
