The “Black Muslim Women: Taking Up Space” panel discussion is a safe space for women who identify as Black and Muslim to gather and share their experiences of working within the social justice and advocacy space. Our wonderful speakers will be sharing how they transformed their passion into careers in their respective fields, how their identities as Black Muslim women led to certain experiences and how they have navigated those spaces. Most importantly, we will be connecting to learn from one another, find the commonalities in our experiences, and celebrate our achievements thus far.
