“A Taste of Latin America”: Virtual Cooking Class (includes Cookbook!)

A virtual cooking class. All proceeds help to improve education opportunities for youth facing barriers to education (all attendees will receive the 'Taste of Latin America' Cookbook produced by SOS))

Event Details

This is a virtual cooking class, with 100% of proceeds going to support a one-of-a-kind youth-led program empowering more students in rural communities of Latin America to study beyond 6th grade (learn more here)

All attendees will receive the ‘Taste of Latin America’ Cookbook, produced by the SOS’ Alumni Changemakers Team. You can choose either a digital copy ($20) or a physical print edition mailed to your home ($40)

The virtual cooking class will be led by Isabella Charum, a long-time SOS Volunteer. During this class Isabella will be teaching us how to make her famous Colombian Empanadas!

READY TO COOK IT UP?

STEP #1. Purchase either a digital or print edition from our Taste of Latin America Cookbook page

STEP #2. You will receive an e-mail containing the recipe card with the virtual event link, and the ingredients you’ll need to participate. (Leave some time to go out and purchase the required ingredients)

STEP #3. Join us December 9th, 6:00 – 7:30pm EST for a night of fun and cultural celebration as we learn to cook Empanadas together and connect as a community!
