Location: Toronto
Deadline: June 12, 2026
Employment Type: Employment

Salary Range: $57,000 - $65,000
Closing Date: June 12, 2026
Brief Description:
Part of Partners In Health Canada’s mandate is to strengthen the Canadian movement for global health equity by developing the next generation of global health advocates and champions. The primary vehicle for PIH Canada’s movement-building work is Students for Partners In Health Canada (SPIHC), a growing network of university and secondary school chapters and community organizers. The Community Organizing Specialist will join a small national staff team committed to building a movement for the right-to-health through SPIHC’s advocacy, fundraising, and community building campaigns in Canada.
The successful candidate will oversee chapter support and mentorship efforts, coordinate student leadership development and training initiatives, strengthen reporting and accountability systems, and project-manage major student-facing programs, including university and secondary school case competitions and the annual Training Institute. This role is ideal for an outgoing, values-driven individual passionate about health equity and supporting young people on the pathway from interest to knowledge to collective action. Their experience in youth engagement, community organizing, facilitation, and relationship-building will develop student leaders who can build strong SPIHC chapters on campus and at schools, and advocate for a robust Canadian commitment to global health equity.
