YOUTH-FRIENDLY ENGOS: APATHY IS BORING ON REACHING, ENGAGING AND RETAINING YOUNG PEOPLE IN YOUR ORGANIZATIONS

Event Details

This session will introduce Youth-Led Democratic Innovation and the 7 Youth Friendly Principles and how to utilize these strategies to incorporate youth into organizations. These are proven strategies to engage young people, driven by research, evaluations and programmatic experience. After the presentation and Q and A a survey will be deployed to help determine the top training priorities for a subsequent Youth Friendly ENGOs online training series this spring.

Learning outcomes for this session:
– Increasing understanding of youth social values segments and the benefits of youth engagement
– Building understanding of the importance of youth participation across dominant culture and among decision-makers
