Good Neighbors Canada
Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in South Korea in 1991. After 5 years, we obtained consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Good Neighbors Canada launched in March 2017. Under the Good Neighbors’ international governance, we focus on fundraising, volunteer programs, and global development campaigns to support field projects.
We are looking for a volunteer Board Member to strengthen our strategy and capacity building and contribute to the Good Neighbors Canada humanitarian mission. This is an opportunity for Canadian residents to be part of the change to advance community empowerment and develop a sustainable future globally.

Responsibilities
Attend quarterly board meetings and other special meetings as required
Participate in organizational events and networking as an ambassador of the charity
Active involvement in fund seeking activities and advise on social entrepreneurship
Make regular contributions to the growth and development of the organization
Support with the implementation of key organizational policies
Qualifications
Passionate about humanitarian works and global sustainable community development
Professional network within the Toronto region desirable
Business (philanthropic businesses) management experience desirable
