Brief Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an agriculture professional to contribute to a new regional nutrition project led by CARE Canada. The Southern Africa Nutrition Initiative (SANI) will improve the nutrition of women of reproductive age and reduce stunting of growth for children under five years old in Mozambique, Zambia and Malawi. The Agriculture Project Advisor will contribute to the implementation of the SANI project in Zambia.
The role of the Agriculture Project Advisor is to provide technical support to the SANI project by identifying lead farmers in Mpika and Shiwa Ng'andu Districts that will be engaged in the project's agriculture activities. The Advisor is expected to support the creation of farmer groups and provide support to project beneficiaries in the adoption of climate smart agriculture methods.
