Brief Description:
The Volunteer will be a part of the youth movement and work with like-minded individuals to make a sustainable difference in either Cameroon, Honduras, or Nicaragua.
Cuso International is calling on Canadian Youth between the ages of 19 to 30 who have demonstrated leadership in their communities or in an academic or professional setting and are looking for challenging international work experience with one of Cuso International’s local partners in Cameroon, Nicaragua or Honduras for 6-12 months to contribute to positive impact with a youth focus.
Your role may include youth to youth engagement and mentorship, youth program coordination support, facilitating and supporting partner workshops, conference coordination, conducting field research, community awareness raising, administrative support, communications/social media support, and support in promoting and expanding the reach of partner organizations with one of our following partners: Ministry of Youths and Civics (Cameroon), Asociación de Desarrollo Pespirense (Honduras), Centro de Decheros Humanos (Honduras), Centro Cultural Batahola Norte (Nicaragua), TECHO (Nicaragua) and others.
