The COVID-19 global pandemic has exposed inequities around the world, especially for many vulnerable groups and communities. Join the International Development Program at Centennial College in a series of interactive discussions on crucial development issues, with speakers from different development organizations, and diverse viewpoints and backgrounds. The event, aptly themed, “Inclusive Recovery: Advancing Change through Equality and Empowerment,” will be held from February 9 to11.
The United Nation’s Disaster Risk Reduction Strategy: “Building Back Better” refers to an opportunity to embrace a safe, just and sustainable recovery that includes well-being, inclusiveness and reduced inequalities.
