Speaker Session: Canada’s Role in International Development

Event Details

This event will be focusing on Canada’s role and approach to international development as a whole, its current contributions to the stream of international development on a global scale and whether it can do more to assist other countries, especially in regarding its foreign policies. There will also be a discussion about whether Canada’s approach to developing the Global South has caused the government to ignore the internal problems plaguing its citizens. Furthermore, Canada’s activities regarding SDGs: whether it is close to reaching it by deadline and its official stance, will be talked about in great detail.
