efugeAid UofT will be hosting its first panel of the year: “Finding Refuge”. We will be addressing the ongoing refugee crisis and what we as a community can do to support the newcomer community.

Guest speakers:
– Mr. Zakaria Mokdad, Owner of Aleppo Kebab restaurant and newcomer from Syria
– Dr. Nergis Canefe, Associate Professor, Center for Refugee Studies at York University
– Mr. Justin Toh, Bellissimo Law
