On December 4th, OCIC’s Ottawa Development Drinks Committee in collaboration with Canadian Feed the Children (CFTC) invite you to witness the award-winning photojournalism project, Transformations, to explore food security challenges and community-led solutions in several of Indigenous communities in Canada. This exhibit features the work of Canadian Feed the Children, Eel Ground First Nation, Chippewas of Nawash First Nation (Neyaashiinigmiing), Garden Hill First Nation and Aki Foods in addressing food sovereignty challenges, and in supporting community-led initiatives, holistic community health and greater food sovereignty.
The evening will feature several photographs from the Transformations exhibit and will also feature a raffle, where you will have the opportunity to win great prizes! You will have the opportunity to have a drink after work, meet new people, learn about development challenges in Canada and engage in dialogue and further understanding of international partnerships that address complex global challenges.
