The Ontario Council for International Cooperation (OCIC) is an expanding community of Ontario-based international development and global education and individual associate members working globally for social justice. Your donation will help to support OCIC’s ongoing efforts to bring diverse youth from across Ontario into the heart of our collective work for universal sustainable development. In the past, OCIC has engaged with Canadian Youth through our Global Changemaker program to recognize and promote youth’s contribution to sustainable development, gender equality, and environmental justice in local and global communities. This GivingTuesday, help us continue to provide resources for Canadian youth to share their stories, build capacity, and develop relationships with other like-minded and passionate individuals and organizations.
What is GivingTuesday?
Marking the “Opening day of the giving season,” GivingTuesday is not just a day for donation and volunteering, it is a global movement where everyone in the society can come together for social causes that matter to us.
“GivingTuesday harnesses the potential of social media and the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change in their communities; it provides a platform for them to encourage the donation of time, resources and talents to address local challenges.
